Bible Study

In Christianity,
Bible study is the study of the Bible
by ordinary people as a personal religious or spiritual practice.
Some denominations may call this devotion or devotional acts
however in other denominations devotion has other meanings.
In Evangelical Protestantism the time set aside to engage in personal Bible study is often called a Quiet Time. In other traditions personal Bible study is referred to as "devotions".
Christians of all denominations use Study Bibles to assist them in their personal Bible studies.

Bible study groups within congregations are sometimes known as cell groups, though many different names exist. The Bible is often studied in informal small groups, and groups within parachurch organizations.

The Christian Bible is divided into two parts.
The first is called the Old Testament, containing the (minimum) 39 books of Hebrew Scripture, they are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.

and the second portion is called the New Testament, containing a set of 27 books. The first four books of the New Testament form the Canonical gospels which recount the life of Christ and are central to the Christian faith. The books of New Testament are Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, Hebrews, James, 1 Peter, 2 Peter, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Jude, Revelation.

I was not get used to bible study before...I felt that it is bored (sometimes I will blamed that Bible is heavy to carry =P) indeed it was meaningful in our lives.
As a Christian, bible is the words of God that lead us to obey and follow His commands. It also meant to all the people in this world... there are many many many verses in a bible and none is cannot be read or understand. Just depend on how willingly you would like to scarifice your time for God.

Doing bible study and quite time is a time that you spend in a group or personally with God. Is like Chatting with God, pray, or even feel the God's presence. By doing this continuously, I believe God is reviewing the different views in your life. There is some situations that God is testing us to depend on Him, by doing things on His will, we can know that God never forsake or abandone us.

Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and
be content with what you have,
because God has said,
"Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you"

As the days go by, i will continue seek and learn more in God's word so that in the any times, any where,
I would able to help and support my friends around. =)
